Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – The Skidmore College men's and women's tennis teams were ranked nationally in the first Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings of the season.

 

Men's tennis is ranked 23^rd nationally and seventh in the northeast region while the women's team is 24^th nationally and eighth regionally.

 

The Thoroughbreds also had athletes earn regional rankings. Junior Danika Robison (South Burlington, Vt.) ranks 22^nd regionally in singles and along with freshman Nataly Mendoza (San Francisco, Calif.), ranks eighth in doubles regionally. On the men's side, junior Carl-Eric Girardin (Lake Bluff, Ill.) ranks 18^th in the region in singles.

 

Both teams will resume play in the spring.
