Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – The Skidmore College men's and women's tennis teams were ranked nationally in the first Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings of the season.
Men's tennis is ranked 23rd nationally and seventh in the northeast region while the women's team is 24th nationally and eighth regionally.
The Thoroughbreds also had athletes earn regional rankings. Junior
Danika Robison (South Burlington, Vt.) ranks 22
nd regionally in singles and along with freshman
Nataly Mendoza (San Francisco, Calif.), ranks eighth in doubles regionally. On the men's side, junior
Carl-Eric Girardin (Lake Bluff, Ill.) ranks 18
th in the region in singles.
Both teams will resume play in the spring.
