Dinsdale and Palmer earn All-American honors

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - Skidmore College volleyball players Lauren Dinsdale and Meredith Palmer have been named to the 2009 AVCA Division III Honorable Mention All-American Team.

Dinsdale (Harrington Park, N.J.) was named an All-American for a fourth time after picking up Liberty League

Dinsdale
Co-Player of the Year honors and being selected to her fourth consecutive All-New York Region Team. She was named Liberty League Co-Performer of the Week four times while leading the Thoroughbreds with 835 digs on the season and brought her career total to 3,716, ranking her second all-time in Division III history.

Palmer (Montvale, N.J.) earned her first All-American selection. She was an AVCA All-New York Region selection and was named to the Liberty League First Team and Liberty League All-Academic Team. Palmer was named Liberty League

Palmer
Co-Performer on the week on September 28 and led Skidmore in kills (444) and blocks (124).

The Thorougbreds finished the 2009 season with a 24-11 record.
