Riders enjoy perfect day

Saratoga Springs, N.Y.--  The Skidmore riders closed out the semester by posting a perfect score of 49 points at home on Saturday Nov. 21st. The win increased the Thoroughbreds lead to 45 points over second place Cornell University.

Not only did 16 Skidmore women ride, but 34 Skidmore horses also competed. The 15 schools participating rode Skidmore horses after a random draw. Head Coach Cindy Ford and Assistant Coach Belinda Colgan were as proud of the horses as they were of their student athletes.

For the first time Skidmore had five riders tied for High Point Rider of the day. We chose to leave the High Point Rider as a five way tie due to time restraints and there was no ride off.
