Victoria, Kinsey nab weekly awards

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – Skidmore College men’s basketball sophomore Terron Victoria and women’s basketball senior Amber Kinsey were both named Liberty League Co-Guards of the week for their recent performances.
Victoria (Albany, N.Y./Bishop Maginn) scored 15 points, including two key free throws down the stretch to help preserve an 82-79 road victory over Trinity. He also added three assists and three steals. The 7-1 Thoroughbreds return to action on Jan 3 at Castleton.
Kinsey (Troy, N.Y./Lansingburgh) led Skidmore with 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the floor in Tuesday’s 52-38 win at Potsdam. She also chipped in with two assists and three steals to help improve to 6-0. The Thoroughbreds will resume play on January 2, when they travel to Bowdoin for the Coastal Maine Classic.
