Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-- The Skidmore College men's lacrosse team is well represented on the Liberty League All-Star teams with eight players earning all-conference honors.

Matt Levesque, the 2008 Liberty Rookie of the Year, is tied for the league in scoring with 48 goals and 21 assists for 69 points. He ranks third nationally in goals per game (3.42) and is sixth nationally in points per game (4.93). Madison and Grillo are part of the league's second ranked defense that is allowing only 7.99 goals and 18.9 shots on goal per game. Madison has 30 ground balls and nine caused turnovers. Grillo, a two-time first team selection, is third in the league with 5.23 ground balls per game to go along with 23 caused turnovers.
Coppola, a three-time all-star, is tied with Matt Levesque for the league scoring lead with 21 goals and a school-record 48 assists for 69 points. He leads the nation with 3.43 per game. He has a point in every career game (56 game streak) and is Skidmore's career assist leader with 133. Barkoff, a two-time all-star, is fourth in the league in ground balls per game (5.14). He also has 13 goals and 18 assists for 31 points and is 129-104 (.554) in faceoffs. Tom Levesque, a three-time all-star, has 13 goals and six assists, including five goals in his last two games.
Bongaerts moved into the starting goalie position this season and is 9-4 with a 7.94 goals against average and a league-leading .585 save percentage. Ward has two goals and is third on the team in ground balls (3.75) and caused turnovers (0.8).
Skidmore (9-5) is seeded second in the Liberty League tournament and will host Clarkson on Friday at 4 p.m. with the winner playing the winner of the Union at St. Lawrence semifinal on Sunday at 12 p.m. at the highest remaining seed.
