Troy, N.Y.-- The Skidmore College women’s swimming and diving team resumed competition Saturday at the RPI Invitational. The Thoroughbreds finished fifth in the meet. RPI was first.
Sonia Segal-Smith finished second in the 1000 Free (11:16.70) and 6th in 200 IM (2:26.12). Heather Friedman was third in the 50 Free (26.15) and seventh in 100 Free (58.24), while Kelsey Carson took fifth in 200 Fly (2:26.19) and Eighth in 200 Free (2:06.68).
Carrie Koch was seventh in 200 free with a lifetime best of 2:05.95 and took eighth in 500 Free (5:46.27). Suzanna Lourie was eighth in 100 Free (58.69).
Diver Kristen Stearns took eighth in the 3Meter (154.20) and the 400 Free Relay of Dana Salzberg, Segal-Smith, Koch and Friedman finished 3rd (3:57.70).
Skidmore is at the College of St. Rose on Jan. 24.
