New London, Conn.-- Connecticut College scored five third-period goals on the way to 6-3 win over Skidmore College, Friday night.

The loss drops Skidmore to 6-6 in the ECAC East and 7-11 overall.  Conn College is 3-8-1 in the NESCAC and 4-12-1 overall.

The Camels erased a two-goal deficit, erupting with five goals, including two empty net tallies,  in the third period of action. Senior net-minder Greg Parker (Trenton, Ontario) collected 16 of his 37 saves in the closing 20 minutes of regulation for the hosts.

Tyler Doremus (Aspen, Colo.), Julian Malakorn (Warwick, R.I.) and Matt Czerokowicz (Blackstone, Mass.) tallied goals for the Thoroughbreds, who out-shot the Camels 40-to-25 in the setback. Sophomore net-minder Colin Bessey (Montclair, N.J.) made 19 saves for the visitors.

Skidmore is at Tufts on Saturday.
