Skidmore men's lax continues commuity service

Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-- For the sixth consecutive fall, the Skidmore Men's Lacrosse team took time to help out at the Franklin Community Center. Each year the team provides much needed man power to clean up the three properties that make up the Center. “We are so excited to help out in the Saratoga Springs community” said Head Coach Jack Sandler, “ because it is so important that the young men on our team understand that giving back and acting selflessly is a huge part of their education here at Skidmore”.

The Franklin Community Center's mission is to work collaboratively with individuals and other agencies to provide services that will improve the quality of life and foster a sense of neighborhood, community and family for all people. With after school programs like Project Lift and a food pantry Franklin Community Center provides many necessary resources to Saratoga Springs and the surrounding areas.
