Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – Men's basketball junior Jeff Altimar was named Liberty League Co-Guard of the Week after an undefeated week for Skidmore.
Altimar (Medford, Mass.) helped the Thoroughbreds to two road victories, leading the team in scoring both games. He had 11 points, four rebounds and two steals against Vassar and scored 25 points on 5-8 shooting from beyond the arc to go along with five rebounds and two steals.
Skidmore is now 12-6 overall and 5-2 in the league and hosts Union at 8 p.m. on Feb. 2 in the Sports and Recreation Center.
