Syracuse, N.Y.-- The Skidmore College women's swimming and diving team finished 11th in the UNYSCA Swimming and Diving Championships hosted by LeMoyne College at Nottingham High School.

Ithaca College won the 17-team event.

On the final day, Kelsey Carson finished 12th in the 200-yard butterfly lowering her college record with a 2:15.17. Elaine Burns finished 23rd with a 2:26.56.

Also, Carrie Koch finished 19th in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 19:04.69. Alena Chubet finished 22nd in the 200 Back with a 2:19.90.

Rounding out an incredible senior performance, Sonia Segal-Smith and Heather Friedman were part of a college record setting 400-freestyle relay with Koch and Carson that lowered the college record by almost 3 seconds, finishing ninth with a time of 3:43.57.
