Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – Skidmore women's tennis freshman Brittany Trimble has been named Liberty League Rookie of the Week after her performance this past week.

Trimble (Whitefish Bay, Wis.) picked up a singles match victory in Skidmore's match at Division 1 UAlbany. She beat Melissa Coughlin in three sets, 7-6 (8-6), 4-6, 6-0. The Thoroughbreds will host RPI at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27.
