The Skidmore College women's tennis team will face Mount St. Mary College in the first round of the NCAA Division III championships, Friday at Williams College. The winner of the match will play Tufts University.
The 19th-ranked Thoroughbreds will face off against the 18-2 Blue Knights on Friday, May 14. The other teams in the region include host and #2 overall seed Williams, Tufts, Wheaton and Ithaca.
Skidmore is led by Danika Robison (South Burlington, Vt.) and Rachel Loeb (Greenwood Village, Colo.) at singles. Robison also teams up with freshman Nataly Mendoza (San Francisco, Calif.) at number one doubles.
