Scott Grillo was named to the 2010 USILA Scholar All-American team.
In 1989, the USILA Scholar All-America Program was established to recognize student-athletes from USILA member institutions who have distinguished themselves academically, athletically and as citizens of their communities. The USILA Selection Committee selects an overall team representing Division I, II and III.
Grillo (Wellesley, Mass.) was also named Second Team All-American and 2010 Liberty League Player of the Year after leading the Thoroughbreds with 25 caused turnovers and ranking second with 63 ground balls. He will also be taking part in the 2010 Lax World/USILA North-South game at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 28 at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland.
Skidmore finished the 2010 season with a 9-6 overall record, falling to 13th ranked Rensselaer in the Liberty League Championship.
