Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-- The eight seniors that make up the heart and soul of the Skidmore College men's basketball team will put their final season on the line Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Liberty League semifinals against St. Lawrence University.
Top-seed Hobart College will host Union College in the other semifinal. The winners will play at the highest remaining seed on Saturday at a time to be determined.
The Thoroughbreds (17-8) swept the regular season series with the Saints (14-10) for the first time since the teams began playing in 1996. Skidmore won 63-57 at the Williamson Center on Jan. 24 and 76-75 in Canton on Feb. 14.
Terron Victoria '12 leads the balanced scoring attack with 11.8 points per game.
Melvis Langyintuo '12 is adding 11.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks.
Gerard O'Shea '12 is second in the nation in assists to turnover ratio with 4.13 assists to every turnover. Skidmore's all-time assist and steals leader, O'Shea is contributing 11.0 points and a 2.5 steals per game.
Brian Lowry '12 is also scoring in double figures with 10.6 points per game.
Ralph Temgoua is scoring 15.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game to lead St. Lawrence.
