On Tuesday the Liberty League announced end of season awards for men's tennis as Skidmore earned Co-Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Coaching Staff of the Year.
Oliver Loutsenko was named Co-Player of the Year along with Andrew Guzick of Vassar, while
Miles Ransom earned Rookie of the Year honors and head coach Nate Simms and assistant coach John LaRose earned Coaching Staff of the Year.
Loutsenko was also a unanimous All-League singles selection and honorable mention doubles with partner
Danny Knight. He is one of 32 individuals selected to compete in the NCAA Singles Championships from May 24-26 in Cary, N.C.
Ransom earned Rookie of the Year and honorable mention singles after posting a 19-8 record this season.
Simms earned Coaching Staff of the Year after leading the Thoroughbreds to an 11-7 record and their fifth straight NCAA appearance. He also led them to their fourth Liberty League Championship in five seasons and were ranked as high as 22
nd nationally.
Others receiving honors for Skidmore included
Luke Granger at All-League singles, while
Jimmy Sherpa was honorable mention at singles and a unanimous All-League selection at doubles with partner
Alec Hoblitzell.
