Hartford, Conn. – The Skidmore College men's tennis team picked up a 5-4 win over Trinity on Saturday afternoon.
After falling behind 2-1 in doubles, the Thoroughbreds won four of six singles matches to win 5-4.
Oliver Loutsenko and
Danny Knight teamed up at number one doubles to pick up an 8-5 win over Musyoka Mbithi and Ford Traff.
Both Loutsenko and Knight were also picked up singles wins as Loutsenko won 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 at number one singles and Knight was a 6-2, 7-5 winner at fourth singles.
Miles Ransom and
Gabe Steerman were also winners at singles for Skidmore.
The Thoroughbreds return to action on September 28 at the ITA Regionals, hosted by Ithaca College.
