The Skidmore College women's tennis team has recently accepted an invitation to compete in the 2013 ITA Division III Team Indoor Championships, March 1-3 at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.
 
The Thoroughbreds, who were ranked 16^th in the final 2011-12 ITA rankings, are one of eight teams to compete in the prestigious event, joining Carnegie Mellon, University of Chicago, DePauw, Johns Hopkins, Washington and Lee, Trinity (TX) and UW Whitewater.
 
Skidmore posted a 15-6 record last season, winning its second straight Liberty League title and  earning an NCAA Tournament bid for the sixth straight season.
 
They open their 2012-13 season on September 8 at the Williams Invite.
