TROY, N.Y. - Caroline Hobbs will represent Skidmore College in the Liberty League's weekly awards, as announced Monday by League Commissioner Tracy King.

Hobbs has been named Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week and third time this season after helping the 20th ranked Skidmore women's tennis team reach the championship match in the elite Nor'Easter Bowl, April 5-7 in Wellesley Mass.

The freshman went a combined 2-1 winning her singles matches against 28th ranked Mary Washington (7-5, 7-5) and 21st ranked MIT (4-6, 6-2, 6-3).

Hobbs and the rest of the women's tennis team are back in action Sunday, April 14 at 9 a.m. when they host The College of New Jersey.
