Skidmore remains unbeaten with 2-0 road win

Box Score PLATTSBURGH, N.Y.-- Freshman Emily Saliterman scored two goals within 1:10 to lead the Skidmore College women's soccer team to a 2-0 road win over Plattsburgh State, Saturday.
 
The Thoroughbreds remain unbeaten at 5-0-1.  The Cardinals are 1-5-1.
 
Saliterman made it 1-0 at 29:19 when she took a pass from Morgan Governale and played it over the Plattsburgh keeper's head. Her second goal came at 30:29 on an assist from Jenna Spooner. Saliterman beat the defender hit the left corner for the 2-0 lead.
 
Gab Lawrence had four saves over the first 71:12, while Madison Plummer had one save in the final 18:48 for the combined shutout.
 
Plattsburgh had a 10-9 shot advantage.
 
The Thoroughbreds open Liberty League play on Sept. 24 at home vs. Union at 7 p.m.
