Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 POTSDAM, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team kicked off its Liberty League schedule Friday night at Clarkson University. The Thoroughbreds lost to the #12 Golden Knights 3-0 (25-21, 25-12, 25-13) and Vassar College 3-1 (25-15, 21-25, 25-14, 25-21).
 
Skidmore (2-14, 0-2) will continue its North Country league trip on Saturday at St. Lawrence against Bard and St. Lawrence.
 
Against Clarkson (17-2), Aria Goodman had a team-high 11 kills with one ace, four digs, and a block. Kalle Fox contributed 22 assists, while Brittany Osborne had nine kills and eight digs. Emily Bloom had two blocks.
 
After dropping the first set against Vassar, Skidmore battled back to tie it with a 25-21 win in the second. The Brewers won 25-14 in third, but Skidmore hung tough in the fourth before losing 25-21.  Goodman had 12 kills, 12 digs, an ace, and three blocks. Fox chipped in 22 assists and eight digs, while Marcela Familiar had 10 digs, five kills, three assists, and a block.
