Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ROCHESTER, N.Y.—A pair of seventh inning rallies has the Skidmore College softball team a half game out of first place after a Liberty League sweep of RIT.
 
Skidmore beat the Tigers 7-6 in the first game with six runs in the seventh and came back in the night cap with another six in the seventh in the second game for an 8-5 win.
 
The Thoroughbreds are 9-11 overall and 3-1 in Liberty League play.  RIT falls to 1-13 and 0-2.
 
Down 4-1 in the first game, Brittany Osborn drilled a three-run double in the seventh to key a six-run rally and the 7-6 win.
 
Osborn finished 2-4 with a run. Lauren Fortunato went 2-2 with two runs and earned the win on the mound. Katie Amo came off the bench to go 2-2 with an RBI .
 
In the second game, the Thoroughbreds trailed 4-2 going into the seventh. Skidmore then pounded RIT for six runs on seven hits.  Lila Rosenfeld delivered the knockout hit, driving in three runs with a bases loaded double.
 
Osborne continued her strong hitting, going 2-3 with two RBI. Amo was 2-4 with an RBI, while Fortunato was 2-5. Lauren Gorstein went 2-4. Cassie Fishkin earned the win.
